Meet Salman – Founder & Owner of Quality Designx
I didn’t get into this business because I was passionate about design. I’ve always been more interested in business, customer service, and building relationships with people.
Before moving to the United States, I worked for a company in my hometown of Karachi, Pakistan, that supported embroidery and apparel decoration businesses. That experience introduced me to the industry and taught me the importance of quality, communication, and reliability when clients are counting on you to deliver.
When I arrived in America in late 2014, I began a new chapter of learning and growth. I attended Oakton Community College in Des Plaines, Illinois, where I was fortunate to learn from an outstanding business faculty. The knowledge I gained there gave me a strong foundation in business, management, customer service, and entrepreneurship.
At the same time, I had the privilege of learning from my grand uncle, who owned several gas stations in the Chicago area. I personally worked at Shell Golf & Dee in Des Plaines, where I was able to see many of the business principles I was learning at Oakton put into practice every day. What I learned in the classroom came to life through real-world experience—serving customers, building trust, solving problems, leading people, and running a business the right way.

Those experiences shaped the way I approach business today. I’ve learned that most customers aren’t simply looking for another vendor. They’re looking for someone they can rely on, communicate with, and trust when challenges arise.

I founded Quality Designx with a simple goal: to build a company that businesses can depend on. A company that delivers quality work, communicates clearly, responds quickly, and genuinely cares about its clients’ success.
Today, we partner with embroidery shops, screen printers, promotional product companies, sign businesses, and apparel decorators throughout the United States and around the world. Our goal is not just to provide a service, but to become a trusted production partner that helps our clients operate more efficiently and serve their own customers with confidence.
My role is to make sure our clients receive exceptional service, clear communication, dependable support, and quality results. I enjoy getting to know business owners, understanding the challenges they face, and finding ways to help. Whether it’s a production issue, a tight deadline, or the need for a reliable partner, I believe in doing everything possible to make life easier for the people we work with.
At the end of the day, I believe that if we help our clients succeed, we’ll succeed too.
